The converted Dairy Cabin is your private dwelling set on Birdsong Farm’s 45 acres of cleared & forested land, bordered by Bellinger River & Dorrigo Rainforest Heritage Park. A crystal clear creek crosses onto the farm at the back which is where we access our clear, clean drinking water. We’re situated 15 minutes from the Bellingen township, and 15 minutes up the mountain to Dorrigo’s rural township. Two very different destinations. Far enough to feel miles from care yet near enough to take advantage of restaurants & cafes, waterfalls & walks. Relax and soak up nature’s beauty, the views of N’gali Old Man Dreaming mountain, and the sights and sounds of an abundant bird life.
Your accommodation is the old dairy shed, converted into a charming, quirky one bedroom fully self-contained dwelling with a rustic style, approx 50m from the owners’ home and screened for privacy.
Bellingen Shire has so much to offer including quality cafes and restaurants, regular festivals and events which the whole town gets involved with, live music, regular markets, local produce fresh from the farmer, arts, crafts, shopping and more.

- all water is sourced from the creek running through Birdsong Farm, which is pristine with a mineral like quality, filtered & suitable for drinking straight from the tap.
- there are 3 steps to the front patio area. There’s one small step between the main living area to the bathroom. The bath (with shower over) requires you to be able to step over the side of it. The river access is down two gentle slopes which can get slippery after heavy rain. For guest with mobility issues, please feel free to check suitability prior to booking.
